The first time I post about selfies was on October 2014. I initially planned to post my selfies from then on to see the improvement of each selfies. However, when I got so busy with photo coverage, I forgot to blog about it. Because, for the longest time, all my drafted blogs were all stuck in my external drives and my laptop. Blogging was least of my priorities during those times and all the blog drafts were left to sit alone without an assurance when it will be edited for posting.

I was encouraged to do that again when I encountered one of the videos of Sorelle Amore I was checking vlogs about editing photos using Lightroom and Photoshop and I happened to see this video on how to take selfie. Of course, it caught my attention right away! I was like, “This is me! Let’s see if we have the same style on taking selfies.” And I got hooked.  Why, she’s fun! Because I kinda see part of myself on her.

You might be seeing selfie blogs with backdates but will be posted in a timely manner.  And you’ll see old pictures, too! Oh yes, I love selfies! I know it’s silly, right? I remembered well, when our pastor mentioned about selfies on one of his preaching on one Sunday,

“We love taking pictures. It’s a trend. We take pictures of ourselves anywhere, anytime. When we eat out, we take pictures of the food first before even saying our prayer for the food we are about to eat! Oh! I know someone who is really fond of doing this . . . “

And he looked around, while others were trying to find someone who does  that. And I realized, it was me they were looking for! I just laughed myself out while I tried to hide my face from the crowd who doesn’t know me at all. Well, it’s something to just feel good about.

Oh well, your first subject for your new camera is always “yourself”. Don’t you?

Featured photo was taken years back with my olympus digital camera. Pardon the edit. I have yet to learn photo editing that time and I relied on the photo editor that most people used.

  2. The heart of your writing while sounding agreeable at first, did not really settle perfectly with me after some time. Someplace within the paragraphs you were able to make me a believer unfortunately just for a short while. I however have a problem with your jumps in logic and one would do nicely to fill in all those breaks. In the event you actually can accomplish that, I could surely end up being amazed.

  3. This is a fantastic blog, will you be involved in doing an interview about just how you designed it? If so e-mail me!
